ANNUAL MEETING OFFICE CLOSING - June 7, 2017

The IDB-IIC FCU will be closing early on Wednesday, June 7th for the 56th Annual Meeting. The call center and wire department will close at 11:00 A.M., while the branch will close at 12:30 P.M., so wires requests received after 11:00 A.M. will be processed the following business day.

As a reminder, the Annual Meeting will begin at 4:30 P.M. in the IDB Auditorium.

The State of the Credit Union, Part II - May 15, 2017

News Release: 4th Best Performing Credit Union in the United States!

Dear Valued Member,

A few weeks ago, I spoke to you about the excellence our credit union achieved in 2016 through discipline, hard work, and innovation. I am proud to announce that our excellence has been noticed by the prestigious research and financial analysis firm S&P Global Market Intelligence, which published their list of the best performing credit unions in the country for year-end 2016.

IDB-IIC Federal Credit Union recognized as 4th Best Performing Credit Union in the United States

The rankings consider important metrics, such as member and market growth, operating expenses versus operating revenue, and loan data. The bottom line is that our credit union was strong in all areas and shares the top spots with credit unions that are many times our size.

I see the ranking, which was a 25-place improvement from our 2015 rank, as a tribute to our strong member base, our hardworking team, and the support of our forward-thinking Board of Directors.  

In that same spirit of looking to our future, we are in the process of reorganizing and relocating several of our departments in an effort to make them more efficient and effective for you, our members. This project has been our top priority for the past several months and I am happy to report that it is on target.

Specifically, we are relocating and improving the credit union’s Call Center and Wire Operations, with the following objectives:

  • Improve service provided over the phone.
  • Reduce wait times for members calling in to our call center.
  • Process wires more efficiently.
  • Educate members on the wire transfer request process to improve execution times.

We believe these improvements will make the IDB-IIC Federal Credit Union an even better place to bank. We hope that you agree and will encourage your family members to join and take advantage of our strong savings rates, our low mortgage rates, and our convenient online banking solutions. As you know, once a member, always a member!

The issue we were experiencing impacting the availability of Mobile and Tablet Application Banking for iOS users has been RESOLVED.

APPLE iOS Mobile and Tablet Apps Unavailable - February 21, 2017

We are experiencing an issue impacting the availability of Mobile and Tablet Application Banking for iOS users.

Online banking remains available while mobile is down. Impacted end users may delete and reinstall their app in the App Store to resolve the issue while we restore availability.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will post an update as soon as our technical teams finish their investigation into the issue.

Un Techo Para Chile: Chile Relief Fund - January 31, 2017

Dear Valued Member,

The IDB-IIC Federal Credit Union joins the IDB Retirees Association fundraising effort to support the people of Chile who were affected by the recent forest fires that hit the southern and central regions of the country. 

To show our support, we will donate $2 to the Chile Relief fund for each member who newly enrolls for e-statements for up to a maximum contribution of $5000.

If you are already signed up for e-statements, but would still like to make a donation to the relief fund, you may do so by requesting an internal transfer to the IDB Retiree Association - Filial Chile Account from within Online Banking.

Please make a difference, Chile needs our help now!

In observance of the New Year Holiday, the IDB-IIC FCU will close at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30th and remain closed on Monday, January 2nd.

We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, January 3rd. Please note that all wires received by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30th, will be processed that same business day. Wires received later than noon will be processed on Tuesday, January 3rd.
